Darren Sammy Stands by Steve Smith, Asks Media to Move On

Toronto Nationals skipper Darren Sammy has asked the media to leave Steven Smith alone as the former Australia skipper looks to make a return to cricket after the ‘Sandpaper Gate’ controversy saw Cricket Australia handing Smith a 12-month ban along with deputy David Warner. Smith will be playing his first game since the third Test between South Africa and Australia when he takes the field for the Nationals against Vancouver Knights in the inaugural match of Global T20 Canada.
