It may be tougher to get H-1B visas as US mulls new norms

The proposal, titled ‘Strengthening the H-1B non-immigration visa classification program,’ indicates that the Department of Homeland Security (of which USCIS is a unit) will revise the definition of ‘specialty occupation’ to focus on obtaining the best and brightest foreign nationals via the H-1B program.
