Andhra Pradesh’s new assembly to be taller than Statue of Unity

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu announced that the proposed assembly building in Amaravati will be taller than the 182-metre Statue of Unity by 68 metres. Once completed, this will be the tallest structure in the country. A UK-based architect will be submitting the blueprints to the govt soon. The building will have three floors and a tower spiralling 250 metres into the sky.
