वेनेजुएला के लॉ मेकर जोस गुएरा ने मंगलवार को ट्विटर पर एक बड़ा खुलासा किया है. उन्होंने बताया कि रूसी बोइंग 777, जिस दिन काराकास में उतरा था, उससे पहले देश के केंद्रीय बैंक से 20 टन सोना निकाल लिया गया था. इस दावे ने सोशल मीडिया पर आक्रोश बढ़ा दिया. हालांकि जब उनसे पूछा गया कि उन्हें यह कैसे पता है, तो गुएरा ने कोई सबूत नहीं दिया. यह कयास लगाया जा रहा है कि यह संकटग्रस्त वेनेजुएला की दुर्दशा की ओर ध्यान आकर्षित करने की कोशिश हो सकती है. लेकिन इस निष्कर्ष पर आने के पहले ये बता दें कि गुएरा एक पूर्व केंद्रीय बैंक अर्थशास्त्री हैं जो अभी भी वहां के पुराने सहयोगियों के संपर्क में रहते हैं. इंडियन एक्सप्रेस के मुताबिक इस मामले की प्रत्यक्ष जानकारी रखने वाले एक व्यक्ति ने ब्लूमबर्ग न्यूज को मंगलवार को बताया कि लोडिंग के लिए केंद्रीय बैंक में 20 टन सोना अलग रखा गया है. व्यक्ति ने कहा कि कुछ 840 मिलियन डॉलर के मूल्य का यह सोना, वेनेजुएला में इस धातु का कुल 20 प्रतिशत है. अमेरिकी प्रतिबंधों के बाद वेनेजुएला में महंगाई चरम पर पहुंच गई है. सत्ता के संघर्ष के लिए वहां राजनीतिक और आर्थिक हालात भी बद्तर हो गए हैं. जिसके चलते भयंकर आर्थिक संकट पैदा हो गया है. वेनेजुएला के पास अपने संरक्षक रूस और चीन के साथ-साथ बॉन्डहोल्डर्स के अरबों बकाया हैं, और उसको अपने लोगों के लिए भोजन खरीदने के लिए मुद्रा की भी आवश्यकता है.

'लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 से पहले भारत में हो सकती है सांप्रदायिक हिंसा'
अमेरिकी खुफिया विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने भारत में इस साल होने वाले लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले सांप्रदायिक हिंसा होने की आशंका जताई है. खुफिया विभाग के निदेशक डैन कोट्स ने अमेरिकी सीनेट (संसद) में एक रिपोर्ट पेश की है जिसमें इस बात का जिक्र है. उन्होंने अमेरिकी सांसदों को बताया कि सत्तारूढ़ बीजेपी अप्रैल-मई (2019) में देश में होने वाले आम चुनावों से पहले हिंदू राष्ट्रवाद पर ही जोर देती रही तो सांप्रदायिक हिंसा की आशंका प्रबल है. उन्होंने बताया कि भारत और चीन के बीच इस साल रिश्ते तनावपूर्ण रहने की आशंका है. उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों देशों के बीच रिश्ते सुधारने के भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी चिनफिंग के प्रयासों के बावजूद उनके संबंधों में तनाव बना रहेगा. कोट्स ने पाकिस्तान पर बोलते हुुए कहा कि उसे 'कुछ समूहों का नीतिगत तौर पर इस्तेमाल कर आतंकवाद निरोधक सहयोग के प्रति संकीर्ण रवैया दिखाना और केवल उन आतंकवादी समूहों से निपटना जिससे पाकिस्तान को सीधे तौर पर खतरा हो, निश्चित तौर पर तालिबान के खिलाफ आतंकवाद निरोधी अमेरिकी प्रयासों को भी चौपट कर देगा.' कोट्स ने खुफिया मुद्दों पर संसद (सीनेट) की प्रवर समिति के सदस्यों को बताया, 'पाकिस्तान समर्थित आतंकवादी समूह भारत और अफगानिस्तान के अलावा अमेरिकी हितों के खिलाफ हमलों की योजना बनाने और अंजाम देने के लिए पाकिस्तान में अपने पनाहगाहों का फायदा उठाना जारी रखेंगे.' कोट्स और अन्य अमेरिकी खुफिया एजेंसियों के प्रमुख विश्वव्यापी खतरे पर आकलन को लेकर खुफिया पर सीनेट की प्रवर समिति के समक्ष पेश हुए, जिस दौरान उन्होंने यह रिपोर्ट पेश की. वहीं उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि भारत और पाकिस्तान के परमाणु कार्यक्रमों के निरंतर विकास और वृद्धि के चलते दक्षिण एशिया में परमाणु सुरक्षा से जुड़ी घटनाओं की आशंका बढ़ गई है. ऑस्ट्रेलिया के शरणार्थी फुटबॉल हकीम अल–अरेबी की थाईलैंड में हुई गिरफ्तारी के बाद मचे बवाल के बाद अब ऑस्ट्रेलिया के प्रधानमंत्री स्कॉट मोरिसन ने थाईलैंड से कहा है कि वह हिरासत में लिए गए इस फुटबाल खिलाड़ी बहरीन प्रत्यर्पण को रोके और उसे रिहा करे. बहरीन की नेशनल टीम में खेल चुके 25 साल के इस खिलाड़ी को ऑस्ट्रेलिया में शरणार्थी का दर्जा मिला है. लेकिन माना जा रहा है कि ऑस्ट्रेलिया का गृह विभाग की चूक के चलते उनकी गिरफ्तारी हुई है और इस गिरफ्तारी ने दुनिया भर के मानवाधिकार कार्यकर्ताओं साथ-साथ फुटबॉल जगत को भी एक कर दिया है. All stakeholders increasing pressure exponentially, we remain cautiously hopeful of a positive outcome. pic.twitter.com/4sVpln6Gsy — Craig Foster (@Craig_Foster) January 29, 2019 ऑस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व कप्तान क्रेग फोस्टर ने अल-अरेबी के समर्थन में फीफा के अधिकारियों के मुलाकात करके उनके प्रत्यर्पण को रुकवाने का मांग की है. इंटरनेशनल स्तर पर यह मसला इतना अधिक इसलिए भी संगीन हो चला है क्योंकि बहरीन के शाही परिवार के सदस्य शेख सलमान एशियन फुटबॉल कनफेडरेशन यानी एएफसी के अध्यक्ष और फीफा के उपाध्यक्ष हैं. अल-अरेबी बहरीन के शाही परिवार के आलोचक भी रहे हैं. मांग यह भी की जा रही है कि जब तक इस मसले का कई हल नहीं निकलता है तबतक उन्हें पद छोड़ देना चाहिए. इसी दबाव के चलते है एएफसी की ओर से थाईलैंड सरकार से अपील की गई है कि उन्हें रिहा करके ऑस्ट्रेलिया वापस भेज दिया दिया जाए. भारत के पूर्व मंत्री और एफएसी के उपाध्यक्ष प्रफुल्ल पटेल ने थाईलैंड की सरकार के सामने एएफसी का रुख साफ किया है. बहरहाल अब देखना होगा कि हकाम अल-अरेबी के समर्थन में चला यह अभियान उन्हें बहरीन को जेल में जाने से बचा पाता है या नहीं.

शंघाई में चल रहा था 'लेडीज क्लब', मेल एस्कॉर्ट को मिले लाखों डॉलर के गिफ्ट्स ने खोली पोल
चीन के शंघाई शहर में एक ऐसी घटना सामने आई है, जिसके बाद वहां की सोशल मीडिया पर सब हैरान हैं. वहां काफी वक्त से एक प्राइवेट लेडीज क्लब चल रहा था, जो अब बहुत हैरानजनक तरीके से सबके सामने आ गया है. साउथ चाइना मॉर्निंग पोस्ट की खबर के मुताबिक, शंघाई में परफ्केट स्पेस नाम से एक क्लब चल रहा था, जिसमें मेल एस्कॉर्ट्स को नौकरी मिली हुई थी. अभी कुछ दिनों पहले 28 साल के एक एस्कॉर्ट्स का बर्थडे था, इस पर उस प्राइवेट क्लब की एक अमीर महिला (जो उसकी पैट्रन यानी संरक्षक थी) ने उसे 28 गिफ्ट दिए थे. उसके गिफ्ट की ये तस्वीर सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो गई, जिसके बाद सोशल मीडिया पर ऐसे किसी क्लब के होने की खबरें सामने आने लगीं. पुलिस ने ये खबरें मिलने के बाद शनिवार को इस इलाके में छापा मारा और इस क्लब को बंद करवा दिया है. साउथ चाइना मॉर्निंग पोस्ट की खबर के मुताबिक, शुक्रवार को वीचैट पर परफेक्ट स्पेस का ये पोस्ट वायरल हुआ था, जिसमें बताया गया था कि 28 साल के इस मेल एस्कॉर्ट को उसकी पैट्रन ने 28 महंगे गिफ्ट दिए थे, जिसमें ऑडी कार से लेकर सोने के कप और लगभग 41 हजार यूएस डॉलर के आसपास कैश शामिल था. इस पोस्ट में एक फोटो भी थी, जिसमें ढेर सारे गिफ्ट बॉक्स रखे हुए थे. कहा जा रहा है कि ये वुमेन ओनली सेक्स क्लब था, जिसकी ऑफिशियल वेबसाइट पर 'शंघाई के रईस डाउनटाउन इलाके में मौजूद महिलाओं के लिए प्राइवेट क्लब' बताया गया था. इस क्लब में काम करने वाले कर्मचारियों को एक पैट्रन का एंटरटेनमेंट करने के लिए हर बार 1,000 युआन यानी 148 यूएस डॉलर के बराबर टिप और महीने में 80,000 युआन यानी लगभग 12,000 यूएस डॉलर देने का वादा किया गया था. इस जॉब के लिए कुछ रिक्वायरमेंट भी थी. इसमें कैंडीडेट्स को 5'9 की हाइट से ज्यादा होना चाहिए, उनका हैंडसम, फैशनेबल, साफ-सुथरा और खुशमिजाज होना जरूरी था.

अमेरिका और तालिबान के बीच अफगानिस्तान में शांति के लिए अहम मुद्दों पर समझौते का एक ड्राफ्ट बनाने या फ्रेमवर्क तैयार करने के पड़ाव पर पहुंच चुके हैं. अमेरिका के एक टॉप एन्वॉय यानी शीर्ष दूत ने ये जानकारी दी है. अमेरिकी दूत ज़लमय खलीलज़ाद ने यह बात पिछले हफ्ते क़तर में तालिबान के साथ छह दिन बातचीत करने बाद कही है, जहां उन्होंने विद्रोहियों से अफ़ग़ान राष्ट्रपति अशरफ़ ग़नी की सरकार के साथ सीधी बातचीत करने का आग्रह किया था. न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स को दिए एक इंटरव्यू में खलीलज़ाद ने कहा कि तालिबान के साथ शांति समझौते की रूपरेखा को लेकर सैद्धांतिक रूप में समझौता हो चुका है, जिसे अभी ड्राफ्ट की शक्ल दिया जाना बाकी है. यह समझौता विद्रोहियों को यह गारंटी देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध करेगा कि अफगानिस्तान की जमीन का इस्तेमाल अंतरराष्ट्रीय आतंकवादी समूहों या व्यक्तियों के अड्डे के रूप में इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाएगा. उन्होंने कहा कि इस समझौते के तहत संघर्ष विराम लागू होने के बदले अमेरिकी सैनिकों की पूरी तरह वापसी और तालिबान और अफगान सरकार के बीच बातचीत की राह बनेगी. अमेरिकी दूतावास की ओर से जारी अपने बयान में खलीलज़ाद ने कहा, 'हमने अपनी चर्चा में महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर प्रगति की है और कुछ अहम मुद्दों पर समझौते को लेकर सैद्धांतिक सहमति बनी है.' खलीलज़ाद ने अपने इस इंटरव्यू में बताया कि तालिबान ने एक बहुत बड़े मुद्दे पर अमेरिका की मदद के लिए तैयार हुआ है. उन्होंने बताया है कि तालिबान ने अमेरिका की उम्मीदों पर खरा उतरते हुए वादा किया है कि वो अफगानिस्तान को दूसरे आतंकी संगठनों या व्यक्तियों का गढ़ बनने से रोकने के लिए जो करना पड़ेगा वो करेगा. उन्होंने आगे कोई जानकारी नहीं दी लेकिन उनके बयान से इन खबरों को बल मिला, जिसमें कहा गया था कि तालिबान ने अफगानिस्तान में अल-कायदा और आईएआईएस का विरोध करने की सहमति दी है. अमेरिका ने चीनी कंपनी Huawei पर लगाया खुफिया जानकारी चोरी करने का आरोप
अमेरिका ने चीन की दूरसंचार क्षेत्र की दिग्गज कंपनी हुआवेई पर व्यापार संबंधी खुफिया जानकारी चुराने सहित कई आरोप लगाए हैं. अमेरिका के इस कदम से दुनिया की दो सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्थाओं के बीच तनाव और बढ़ने की आशंका है. साथ ही इससे दोनों के बीच होने वाली ट्रेड समिट में भी मुश्किल हो गई है. ये आरोप ऐसे समय में लगाए गए हैं जब अमेरिका और चीन के बीच 30 और 31 जनवरी को व्यापार वार्ता होने वाली है. बहरहाल वाइट हाउस ने सोमवार को इन दोनों घटनाओं के बीच किसी भी तरह का संबंध होने की बात को नकार दिया. अमेरिका के डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ जस्टिस ने सोमवार को हुआवेई के खिलाफ दो मामले खोलते हुए कई आरोप लगाए हैं. एक आरोप यह है कि हुआवेई ने टी-मोबाइल (टीएमयूएस) के व्यापार की खुफिया जानकारी चुराने का प्रयास किया और उन कर्मचारियों को बोनस का वादा किया जो प्रतिद्वंद्वी कंपनियों की खुफिया व्यापार जानकारियां जुटाएंगे. दूसरे में यह आरोप लगाया गया है कि कंपनी ने ईरान पर अमेरिकी प्रतिबंधों को धता बताने की कोशिश की. चीन ने इस मामले में अपनी प्रतिक्रिया में कहा कि अमेरिका ने राजनीतिक उद्देश्य से यह कदम उठाया है. चीन के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि कुछ समय से अमेरिका विशेष रूप से चीन की कंपनियों को निशाना बनाने का प्रयास कर रहा है. अमेरिका के जस्टिस डिपार्टमेंट ने हुआवेई और उसकी मुख्य वित्त अधिकारी (सीएफओ) मेंग वानझोऊ पर वित्तीय धोखाधड़ी सहित 13 आरोप लगाए हैं. कंपनी के फाउंडर की बेटी को दिसंबर में कनाडा में गिरफ्तार किया गया था. अमेरिका मेंग के प्रत्यर्पण का प्रयास कर रहा है. इस मामले से कनाडा और चीन के बीच भी बड़ा तनाव पैदा हो गया था. हुआवेई, उसकी सीएफओ और अन्य कर्मियों पर ईरान में हुआवेई की व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों के बारे में कई वैश्विक वित्तीय संस्थानों और अमेरिकी सरकार को धोखा देने का आरोप भी लगाया गया है. कार्यवाहक अटॉर्नी जनरल मैथ्यू जी व्हिटेकर ने सोमवार को कहा, ‘आज हम टेलीकॉम कंपनी हुआवेई और उससे जुड़े करीब 20 से अधिक लोगों के खिलाफ आरोप लगाने की घोषणा करते हैं.’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘जैसा कि मैंने चीनी अधिकारियों से अगस्त में कहा था, चीन को कानून का पालन करने के लिए अपने नागरिकों और चीनी कंपनियों को जवाबदेह बनाना चाहिए.’ इसके अलावा सिएटल में हुआवेई डिवाइस कंपनी के खिलाफ व्यापार संबंधी खुफिया जानकारी चुराने सहित वायर धोखाधड़ी के सात आरोप और न्याय में बाधा डालने के संबंध में एक आरोप दर्ज किया गया है. आरोपों के अनुसार हुआवेई ने यह चोरी 2012 में शुरू की थी. खुफिया मामलों पर सीनेट की चयन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष सीनेटर मार्क वार्नर ने ट्रंप प्रशासन की सराहना की और अमेरिका से चीन की आईपी चोरी को व्यापार वार्ता में प्राथमिकता देने का आग्रह किया. बता दें कि यूरोपीय संघ में चीन के राजदूत ने सोमवार को कहा था कि चीन की प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी हुआवेई, पश्चिम की सरकारों की ओर से उसके खिलाफ ‘झूठी अफवाहें’ फैलाए जाने का शिकार बनी है. यह पश्चिमी देशों की सरकारों की हुआवेई के दुनियाभर में अपनी टेक्नोलॉजी को स्थापित करने से रोकने की कोशिश है. दूसरी ओर, अमेरिका, फ्रांस और अन्य पश्चिमी देशों ने अंदेशा जताया था कि हुआवेई के बेस स्टेशन और अन्य उपकरण चीन को दुनियाभर के अहम नेटवर्क बुनियादी ढांचे तक एक्सेस दे सकते हैं. संभावना है कि इससे चीन को दूसरे देशों की सरकारों की निगरानी करने का मौका मिल जाए.
