In a first, ancient couple found in Harappan grave

It is the first anthropologically confirmed joint burial of a couple in a Harappan cemetery. The 'couple's grave' was found in the Harappan excavations at Rakhigarhi, Harayana. Evidence points at the couple being buried simultaneously or about the same time. Another Harappan joint burial discovered earlier was regarded as a ‘probable’ instance of a widow's self-sacrifice.
