Lok Sabha polls: Where BJP sowed, Cong reaped

BJP and the RSS ardently supported the agitation against the Supreme Court's verdict on Sabarimala Temple which allowed women of menstruating age to enter the temple. But despite people recognising BJP's support for the anti-Temple entry movement, the sentiment did not convert into votes and the Congress had the last laugh sweeping 19 out of the state’s 20 seats.
