Pakistan stops much-celebrated offshore drilling

PM Imran Khan earlier this year said Pak won't need to import oil after reserves were found near Karachi coast. "God willing the reserves will be so large that we will not need to import any oil," he said. However, after 17 failed attempts and drilling for more than 5,500 metres, the operation was stopped.
