Modi asks BJP MPs to embark on 150km walk

BJP MPs should hold padayatras (walking tours) in their Lok Sabha constituencies totalling 150 km from October 2 to 31, the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Vallabhbhai Patel, PM Modi told MPs on Tuesday. "Teams of MPs will be formed in each constituency and programmes will be held on Gandhiji, freedom struggle and tree plantation,” Union minister Pralhad Joshi said.
