President Trump unleashed a Twitter tirade on Sunday evening, accusing House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) of lying in "perhaps the most blatant and sinister manner ever seen in the great Chamber" and demanding a meeting with the person who filed a whistleblower complaint in response to his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.Trump declared that he deserves to "meet my accuser, especially when this accuser, the so-called 'Whistleblower,' represented a perfect conversation with a foreign leader in a totally inaccurate and fraudulent way." The whistleblower wrote in their complaint that they did not listen in on Trump's July 25 phone call with Zelensky, but the White House released a summary of the call last week, and it corroborates the whistleblower's account of what occurred.Trump also echoed comments he made during a meeting last week with U.S. diplomatic officials at the United Nations, saying he wants to meet the person who "illegally gave this information, which was largely incorrect, to the 'Whistleblower.' Was this person SPYING on the U.S. President? Big Consequences!" As for Schiff, who is leading the Democrats' impeachment inquiry, Trump said he should be "questioned at the highest level for Fraud & Treason." He also got in his usual digs against the "Radical Left" and the "Fake News Media," saying both entities are "Dangerous & Bad!"
