NCLAT restores Mistry as Tata Sons chairman

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Wednesday restored Cyrus Mistry as chairman of Tata Sons. The direction of Mistry’s reinstatement will become operational after 4 weeks, giving Tata Sons time to move SC. The NCLAT said that Tata Sons’ move to become a private limited company from a deemed public company was unlawful & directed a reversal in its status.
