SC proposes ‘encounter’ be probed by retd judge

A bench of Chief Justice S A Bobde and Justices S A Nazeer and Sanjiv Khanna said the Telangana HC was already looking into the incident and only thing needed to be done was to appoint a former SC judge to hold an inquiry. It posted the case for Thursday to pass an order and asked the state government and petitioner to suggest the name of a retired judge who could be given the task.
