India's infant mortality rate has dropped to 30, but the decline has slowed down in the last five years in most states, just released data from the sample registration system (SRS) shows. India is set to reach yet another milestone next week of administering over 100-crore vaccine doses even as the government plans to involve NGOs and the private sector to mark the achievement and end vaccine hesitancy through spreading awareness.
