12,000+ cases for 2nd day, deaths up by 324

India reported more than 12,000 new Covid-19 cases for the second straight day with infections continuing to surge in several states. As many as 324 deaths from the virus were reported on Sunday, taking the total toll past 9,500. India’s coronavirus caseload rose to 3.33 lakh on Sunday, as per data collated from the states, while the number of recovered patients was over 1.69 lakh.
