EC: Electoral bonds against transparency

Opposing Centre’s decision to introduce electoral bonds for funding of political parties, the Election Commission has told the Supreme Court that it will have serious repercussion on transparency of political funding and termed it as retrograde step. t said the commission had way back in 2017 expressed concern and had asked the Centre to re-examine it.
